Hoa Sen University (HSU) has recently filed for external assessment for three training programs based on the AUN-QA criteria.
The 218th quality assessment session based on the AUN-QA criteria was carried out online from June 14 to June 18, 2021. The training programs that HSU has registered for external assessment include Information Technology, Interior Design, Restaurant Management and Catering. In 2019, HSU was accredited by the ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) for two majors namely English Language and Hospitality Management.

The Assessment Council appraisers made numerous positive comments on Hoa Sen University evaluation. Firstly, the HSU training programs embody the university’s vision, mission, and educational philosophy. Secondly, HSU training programs are revised on a regular basis and with the engagement of stakeholders (businesses, alumni, faculties, and students). Third, HSU’s lecturers are professional, devoted to teaching and enthusiastic with students. Moreover, they have a wealth of practical experience and are constantly trained to enhance their skills.
Fourthly, HSU graduates have a high employment rate, with 95% of them gaining employment.
As for the fifth, throughout the training process, HSU uses a set of teaching strategies as well as student assessment methods.

Next, HSU collaborates closely with enterprises to ensure that graduates have immediate employment. In addition, the assessors praised HSU students and alumni for their proficiency in English. Specifically, they value HSU’s student assistance services.

AUN-QA is a prestigious external assessment organization run by the network of Southeast Asian universities, aiming to evaluate the most comprehensive and rigorous training program of educational institutions across the region.
