The morning of September 26th marked the start of construction in Bien Hoa City of the International Schools of North America – SNA Bien Hoa on a total area of 30,000 m2.
SNA Bien Hoa, located at the heart of Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province, will be the home of more than 2,000 elite students. With the American International program, SNA Bien Hoa not only creates good conditions for children to study but also provides valuable experiences in a diverse international education environment.
Representative leaders of People’s Committee of Dong Nai province, Bien Hoa city, Local Departments, partners and representatives of Nguyen Hoang Group performed the groundbreaking ceremony of International Schools of North America – SNA Bien Hoa.
The starting place of future leaders
Under the educational ecosystem of Nguyen Hoang Group, the system of International Schools of North America (SNA) was established in 2005, training from preschool to grade 12. SNA is a member of the Council of International Schools (CIS) and Western Association of School and Colleges (WASC).
Over the past 15 years of establishment and development, SNA has created a complete international environment, with teaching that follows the standards of prestigious international education organizations with the goal of training a “future leader” generation who never stop learning, loving, sharing and becoming responsible global citizens.
SNA’s new campus is located at the heart of Bien Hoa City.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Hoa Hiep – Vice Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee expressed her joy: “I am truly glad when Nguyen Hoang Group brings their international education model to Bien Hoa. I have also already seen the scale and teaching quality of International Schools of North America through their Saigon South campus. I hope that SNA Bien Hoa will be completed and put into operation soon to create a comprehensive learning environment for our beloved students in Dong Nai”.

With a total area of nearly 30,000 m2, SNA Bien Hoa applies green architecture solutions, green space with a rooftop garden, hot water system with solar energy which contributes to creating a friendly and safe learning environment for students. SNA has a dynamic and inspiring architecture which shows the desire of reaching to the sky of knowledge.
In addition, SNA Bien Hoa facilitates the best facilities to optimize teaching and learning performance, including theater-style hall with 800 seats, fully equipped with sound and light equipment; library with 2-storey space, creating a space for research, reading, and open academic exchange; large canteen area, kitchen area with 5-star standard equipment; the classrooms are bright with natural light; laboratories and functional rooms have modern equipment to meet the students’ needs of experiment and research.

Physical health training is one of the top priorities at SNA with a diverse sports environment: Multi-purpose stadium has basketball court and badminton court, GYM room with modern equipment, 5-lane swimming pool with roof, FIFA-standard football field, 100m running track where students can train and improve their fitness through sports training.
In terms of boarding house, SNA Bien Hoa has a 9-storey functional area called Sulina Dorm with 450 boarding beds, ensuring that each student will have a private and comfortable living space. In addition, SNA Bien Hoa also has ancillary areas such as living room, parent boarding room. A specialist house has 136 beds for foreign lecturers and experts.

The international program aims for comprehensive development
With the aspiration to internationalize Vietnamese education, the Human education philosophy, locating Human at the center, the American education program at SNA Bien Hoa not only captures the knowledge of American education, but also develops many soft skills; enhances extracurricular programs, foreign languages, music, sports, and emotional education to help students quickly integrate into international environments while studying abroad. Students graduating from SNA will receive dual degrees: Baccalaureate Vietnamese Program and Baccalaureate American Program so they can continue to study at universities in Vietnam, America or any university in the world.
