As we know, a green cornfield is probably familiar to children who live in the countryside. In addition, corn is also one of the important agricultural crops in Vietnam and most Vietnamese already know about this crop.
However, children in Saigon Academy, who live in crowded and modern cities might not have a chance to see this kind of traditional food crop. For that reason, teachers of Saigon Academy created an interesting campaign named “Corn”.
Recently, the children of Saigon Academy (SGA) had the opportunity to visit and experience the reality at the Corn farm in Binh Duong. The children were excited to see the real cornfield plant, and learn how to grow and pick corn. They played a role as a farmer to collect numerous corn in the large field and pack it home.
In this campaign, Saigon Academy would like to teach our students a lesson about the important value of Vietnam agriculture. Moreover, young students of Saigon Academy knew how to love and protect our environment.
