With a vividly youth appearance and friendly style, Dr. Do Ngoc Minh is a special “friend” to Ba Ria – Vung Tau University (BVU) students.
Dr. Do Ngoc Minh is a former student with a focus on Chemistry at Le Quy Don High School in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province.
When 20 years old, he came to Russia and obtained an excellent Bachelor of Inorganic Chemistry from Ivanovo State University of Chemical and Technology. At the age of 29, the 1980s-generation student became a Doctor of Chemistry at that university.
Over there, Minh won the 2007 Inorganic Chemistry Olympiad First Prize, First Prize in Physics Olympiad 2008, First Prize in Physics Olympiad 2009.
In June 2016, Dr. Minh became a member of BVU. He lectures chemical engineering technology, Faculty of Engineering and Technology – High-Tech Agriculture at BVU.
Dr. Do Ngoc Minh’s extensive knowledge and youthful demeanor have won the hearts of students. Nguyen Ngoc Mai, a 4th year student in Petrochemicals at the faculty shares: “With Mr. Minh, we not only learn knowledge but also obtain life experiences, especially with student life away from home. He is really the “big brother” to all students like me.”
Dr. Minh shares: “When I stand in front of the whole class or when talking to students, I always show my attention for them like a family member. I see in BVU students as my young age time. They are full of enthusiasm, eager to learn, that’s why not only me, but every BVU lecturer strives every day, bringing to the beloved students the confidence and experience to succeed”.
Dr. Minh also spends a lot of time for community activities, clubs and is also an MC for the BVU online channel on youtube.
