On October 26th, 2021, Ba Ria – Vung tau University (BVU), member school of the Nguyen Hoang Education Group (NHG), will officially receive the 4 QS STARS™ Rating Certificate from the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Organization of the United Kingdom. BVU will become one 1 of only 5 universities in Vietnam and the youngest of these universities to have the honor of receiving this rating. Notably, 2 of the 5 universities receiving the 4 QS STARS™ rating are member schools of Nguyen Hoang Education Group.
The 4 Stars QS Certificate Awarding Ceremony for Ba Ria – Vung Tau University will be attended by representatives of QS, Mr. Jeroen Prinsen (QS Regional Director Asia Pacific) and Mr. Samuel Ang (QS Regional Director Asia Pacific), representatives of Nguyen Hoang Education Group and the Board of Administration, lecturers and students of Ba Ria – Vung Tau University. Mr. Jeroen Prinsen and Samuel Ang will represent QS to virtually award the certificate to Prof. Dr. Nguyen Loc, President of BVU.

BVU is the youngest university in Vietnam to recieve a 4 QS STARS™
In June of 2021, BVU registered to be evaluated by QS. BVU underwent a rigorous review process and remained completely independent in data collection, review and evaluation of the University’s activities in accordance with the 12 standards and 67 criteria as set by QS STARS™. The QS criteria for evaluation includes Teaching, Employability, Internationalization, Academic Development, Facilities, Social Responsibility and Inclusiveness.
On September 7, 2021, QS officially announced that Ba Ria-Vung Tau University has reached the 4 QS STARS™ rating with a total score of 595. In this evaluation, BVU was rated 5 stars of excellence for 5 out of 8 criteria, which are: Teaching, Employability, Academic Development, Facilities and Inclusiveness.

In the QS Rankings List, Vietnam currently has 5 universities that are rated 4 Star, including 2 universities that are members of Nguyen Hoang Education Group, Hoa Sen University and Ba Ria-Vung Tau University.
BVU’s new campus will begin operation in the 2022-2023 school-year
and aims to become the first resort university in Vietnam.
