According to the enrollment regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, each admission runs independently of each other. For example, in 2021, the academic record way for admission to Gia Dinh University is that candidates must have the average score in 5 high school semesters at 5.5 points or higher. Meanwhile, the channel for wishes is the form of admission using the results of the high school graduation exam for admission. In addition, candidates can also take the exam with the results of the competency assessment test organized by the Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City. If a candidate applies for admission based on the score of the high school graduation exam in 2021 (also known as based on wishes), even if he is allowed to register without limit, he can only be admitted to one major of one school.
